Isolating Vpwr from Vmotor on NC12DXSSMI

This mod is necessary if you want to use a motor volatage higher than about 9V (e.g. 12V).

1)	Remove inductors L1 and L2
2)	Solder wires to the pin 1 (square) pads left by removing L1 and L2.
3)	The wire attached to the L1 pad is Vpwr
4)	The wire attached to the L2 pad is Ground
5)	Supply desired Vpwr (7 to 9 VDC is ideal;  maximum 16V).  This Vpwr supplies the NanoCore12DX module's on-board regulator and the SSMI 5V regulator U5 which generates Vsharp (for the IR sensors)


Alternative (if you don't want to get into soldering):

Just cut out L1 and L2 with cutters, and apply Vpwr and Ground at pins 32 and 31 of H1, respectively.
